MMK & NauSYS bridge

If your fleet uses both MMK and NauSYS (with credentials set up for each), Floatist can keep availability in sync between the two, so there’s no more manually copying bookings from one system to the other.

Floatist sits in the middle: it pulls real bookings from each system, then pushes every booking that didn’t originate in a given system back into that system as an option (a soft availability hold). The result:

• A booking in MMK → an option in NauSYS for the same dates.
• A booking in NauSYS → an option in MMK for the same dates.
• A booking created directly in Floatist → an option in both MMK and NauSYS.

How it’s labelled and what’s shared

Every option Floatist pushes carries dates and the yacht only: no guest name, contact details, or pricing. This is deliberate, so no customer data crosses between systems. The target system applies its own default check-in/out times.

• In MMK, options are booked under the contact you pick in Book the reservation under on the MMK setup page. Nothing is pushed to MMK until you pick one. See What name your MMK and NauSYS options are booked under.
• In NauSYS, options are named “Floatist”.

An option from Floatist is a real booking elsewhere

An option Floatist pushed to MMK or NauSYS represents a confirmed booking held in the other system (or in Floatist). It’s there to block the dates, not a tentative enquiry.

Turning it on

The bridge is driven by the Block availability automation on each integration’s setup page. On Settings > Integrations > MMK and Settings > Integrations > NauSYS you’ll find two automations under Automations, each with a Run this automation switch:

• Create Floatist bookings: bring that system’s real bookings into Floatist.
• Block availability in [system]: mirror your other bookings into that system as options. Turn this on for each system you want kept in sync.

So to mirror your NauSYS and Floatist bookings into MMK, run Block availability in MMK (and pick the contact to book under); to mirror MMK and Floatist bookings into NauSYS, run Block availability in NauSYS. Contact us if you’d like help setting it up.

Disable MMK's native push to NauSYS first

MMK has its own built-in option to push bookings directly into NauSYS. Once Floatist is managing the bridge, you must disable that MMK-to-NauSYS push and stop manually creating bookings in MMK from NauSYS. If you don’t, the same booking will appear twice (once from Floatist’s bridge and once from MMK’s own push), causing duplicates and confusion. Make this change before enabling the bridge.

When the options appear

Options are created and updated on the regular sync (which runs automatically through the day), or immediately when you press Synchronize bookings, not the instant you save a booking. If you later cancel or move a booking in Floatist, its mirrored options are removed or updated automatically on the next sync.

Limitations to know about

• Floatist can only create options, never confirmed bookings, because they’re the only object type the app can cancel again. MMK & NauSYS.
• Floatist can’t control the start and end hours of an option; the target system uses its defaults. MMK & NauSYS.
• Options pushed to NauSYS must run Saturday to Saturday. A non-Saturday booking won’t sync to NauSYS and will flag an invalid-dates status on the booking. NauSYS only.
