  • Navigate to Settings > Push notifications (You can find it in the menu by clicking the burger icon on the top left)
  • Click the button on the top with part of your name in it
  • Click Push notifications
  • Click Enable push notifications
  • Click Allow app > click on the More menu. Follow the steps below depending on your device and software.

Configure push notifications based on your preferences

Section titled “Configure push notifications based on your preferences”

Depending on your role within the team, you can decide to opt in for specific notification types.

  • Booking activity: using these toggles you can specify which boats you want to be notified. Each team member can have their assigned boats or bases.

    • My boats: receive notification only about my boats. Please note this would filter your notifications to only your assigned boats, but only if the entire base is not assigned. Assigning the base will override the boat assignation, and so the boat assignation will become useless.
    • My bases: receive notifications about all boats in my assigned bases. If a whole base is assigned, and you have the My bases toggle ON, all boats in this base are included, so this would override any assigned boats you have specified. If you want to limit your notifications to only assigned boats, you would want to turn OFF My bases.
  • Booking steps: For all of the boats you want to be notified about (refer to the previous bullet point), you will get notifications on the steps chosen here. There is a toggle for each specific step. For each chosen step you will receive a notification when the either the status changes or a new comment is added. For example, if you only want to receive updates about cleaning inside, turn off every step except for cleaning inside (the vacuum icon).

  • Extras: push notifications regarding extra updates, when new extras are added to a booking or the quantity is updated. You can choose to receive no notifications, always, or only when an extra requires approval.

  • Task: push notifications related to tasks. You can choose for each activity type whether you want to receive a notification:

    • Upon new task creation
    • When a task is assigned to you
    • When a new comment is added on any task
  • Charter Issue: receive push notifications when a a charter issue is opened or got a reply. You can choose to filter these notifications to only your boats or your bases.

If you are using Chrome, Chrome should not be optimized for low battery usage. This can prevent notifications from being delivered.
